IRC focuses greatly on Safety, Health, and Environment (HSE) issues. Risk and safety analysis, documents related to implementation of HSE rules, procedures and organization are provided.

HSE is a line responsibility and all members of the project are responsible for HSE issues in their field of work. Every member of staff is responsible for limiting risks to health and the environment. Contractors, project and operation managers are responsible for adhering to and applying HSE rules and procedures.

IRC proposes a framework for an organization by applying HSE standards according to the type of project, and its products. HSE representatives will be selected consequently. consequently.

IRC's program for HSE is mainly concerned with:

• The Protection of human life and health and preventing accidents, and injuries.
• Fulfilling all health, environmental and safety requirements as formulated in acts, regulations and standards of the respective authority requirements and HSE institutions.
• Cooperating in all areas with the relevant authorities and the client to achieve the best possible HSE results.
• Utilizing experience gained from other projects and operations into specifications, working procedures, etc.
• Proposing management control methods to assure the integration of all HSE requirements during execution and operation.
• Improving the effective use of natural resources, and minimizing emission and waste where applicable. Disposal of waste is undertaken in accordance with the authority requirements and based on international codes of practice.
